Wedding Video

So as most of you know my Mother got married just a few weeks ago and it was so beautiful! I wasn’t able to take as many pictures as I thought I would because I was the Maid of Honor but luckily my amazing-talented-hot boyfriend was there to take pictures and video. He hasn’t finished editing pictures but he stayed up until 4am this morning finishing this video to hold her over. Everytime I watch it I cry! It’s so beautiful and the music is PERFECT. Here it is! (Make sure you turn up the volume!)

Ada + Charlie’s Wedding

The song is by our favorite band Brightwood and the song is titled Conversation With Stars. LOVE.

Wedding bells

If you’re reading this now I’ll most likely be on my way up to Reno with my love. We’ll be there this weekend while my beautiful Mother gets married. I am so, so excited to see her on HER day. I seriously think this was the longest engagement ever. lol But I’m happy that we’ll all be together celebrating in Tahoe on Saturday! I’ll post tons of pictures from the big event because my Mom has deemed myself and Aaron as the wedding photographers. Eep! Aaron is going to be shooting more video than anything so I’m happy to lend a helping hand in shooting photos, in my dress and heels, haha.

Anyway, before I let you all go I’m going to post some pictures from my week so far. :)

Aren’t these two the cutest? Since the recent loss of Dolly we’ve been cuddling and kissing Molli like crazy.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! I’m super nervous about baking my Mom’s wedding cake this weekend but I just need to think positive and have confidence! Eee! Wish me luck!xo

Weekend Recap- 9.20.2010

This weekend I went up to Reno for my cousins wedding and it was absolutely amazing. It’s been quite sometime since our entire family has been able to dress up, get together and have fun. We smiled too much, laughed too hard and definitely danced our butts off. I was incredibly satisfied with my entire weekend because I was able to spend it with the people that matter most to me. Here are just a few pictures from the wedding that I took with my camera, the rest you can see on my flickr;

Me :P

My Mom, her fiance Charlie, my sister & I.

My cute nephew who’s growing up so quickly!!!

My awesome cousin, Nick. We have always been attached at the hip since kids :)

My cousin and grandma, really love this picture<3

My cousin and her (NOW!) husband! Eep!

I definitely got teary eyed watched the ceremony and it makes me so excited to hopefully be in those same shoes and be the one getting married!

This weekend made me really appreciate my time with my family. I didn’t tell any of my friends that I’d be heading up there specifically because I wanted to put every ounce of energy into them. With that said, I was able to spare an hour or so here and there to sneak off and see them. I’m so thankful for my friends Sam, Sharmeen, Kameron, Erin and Brittni who I all saw while I was there. It truly means a lot to me that I’ve moved 400 miles away and am still able to remain so close to all of you. :)

Sunday I was able to make a quick stop to see my grandparents. It’s always nice to go out with them and catch up. I definitely will be making it a priority to see them more often and atleast once or twice each time I visit Reno.

So I just wanted to post a quick update on what I’ve been up to. I have finals this week and a week off from school next week followed by a quick visit to San Diego to hang out with my Mom & Sister which I’m really excited about. Let’s hope these next few weeks go by quickly! I’ll be back as soon as I can. xo

Weekend recap- 8.29.2010

This weekend was amazing. I literally did nothing and I enjoyed every minute of it. Some of our close friends recently just bought a house so most of our weekend was spent at their house. We even had sleepovers! Yee! Haha. I didn’t take any pictures but Friday night I attended my coworkers wedding reception. Here I am with a couple of my coworkers, sitting on the floor unfortunately. :P

I love any excuse to dress up fancy so it was nice to be able to put on a dress and heals and feel pretty.

Aside from relaxing I’ve been enjoying hanging out with good company. My friend Steph and I went shopping today and I finally was able to find a good looking picture frame for my Audrey Kawasaki piece the boyfriend bought me back in February. I’ll post pictures of it another day. I love hanging out with our friends because Steph and I can cook dinner together all the time. I love it! I’ve been so motivated to cook lately that last night I made a delicious dinner for the babe and I. I made yummy tamales, spanish rice, corn, a side of diced mango with a slice of red velvet cake. Let’s just say the boyfriend was pleased and finished everything on his plate. :)

I spent most of tonight catching up on homework and scheduling lots of good posts for this week. I’m going to try to schedule posts from now on so there aren’t such long gaps in between each post. Have any of you tried this? I’m gonna give it a go.

Anyway, I’m gonna get back to hanging out with our friends. We’re playing Halo 3. :P Hope you’re having a good night!
