Music Monday- LCD Soundsystem

I know I don’t normally post Music Mondays but recently I’ve been coming across songs that I feel I just have to share with you all. So todays Music Monday is from a cool little band called LCD Soundsystem. I haven’t really listened to much of their other stuff because I’ve been so hooked on this song but I’ve heard their albums are amazing. All weekend I’ve been listening to Dance Yrself Clean on their album called This is Happening. The first three minutes are kind of slow(it’s a 9 minute song) but then it slowly but surely becomes a solo dance party in my car while listening to this. I love it and I hope you all do too. Music Monday- Metric

Have you seen Scott Pilgrim vs. the World yet? If you haven’t, you’re missing out and need to see it asap. Definitely one of my favorite Michael Cera films and without a doubt on my top 10 faves of 2010. Yup, that good. Basically, he meets an ultra babe and has to beat off all 7 of her evil ex boyfriends who are out to kill him. Hilarious. What makes it even better is that one of my favorite bands created a song for this movie and it’s amazing. Metric came out with a song called “Black Sheep” which is one of the first songs on the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack.
