Bits from the week.

I’m sure you guys are wondering why I never post pictures of my boyfriend on here. Or rather, if I am just telling you guys I have a boyfriend but really it’s just a figment of my imagination. No folks, I do have a handsome mister he just loathes pictures of himself. So in place of cute pictures of my boyfriend you get an overload of pictures of our dog. Who doesn’t love furry creatures? She is just adorable:

Anyways, yesterday this amazing letterpressed print arrived in the mail and it fits perfectly above our record player + stand in the office. I love it. It’s perfect inspiration:

And I bought this fancy bottle of wine the other night for a girls night that I’m going to this weekend. Is it weird that I bought it strictly because I loved the packaging? The fact that it was chocolate wine was just a bonus.

So as you can see nothing too fascinating has been happening over here. I hope your week is a little more exciting than mine. ;)

I love you more than coffee

As most of you know, the past few months I’ve been creating monthly designs celebrating each month Aaron and I have been together. We just passed our 4 year mark last week! This project has been such a fun creative outlet for me to learn and experiment, I’m having such a blast.

Since we moved into our house we purchased our first coffee machine and it’s far from neglected here. We use it atleast 1-2 times a day and it’s heaven sent that it has a brewing timer on it! Yes. Coffee is definitely one of my favorites next to design and Molli but nothing is more favorable than who I get to share that cup of joe with. ♥

I FONT YOU- Licht Punt

Licht Punt was created by Alexandra Mendes for the branding of the Sky High project.

“The characters are T H I N , TALL and M I N I M A L. Sharp lines and round edges. The details on the joints of each character refer to light points, as if the type is carved in a dark surface, and from behind it light shines through. Those joints become light points, and from there comes the typeface name (licht punt = light point).”

Unfortunately it’s not for sale. But it’s nice to look at, amirite? I think it’s absolutely gorgeous.
